By hot air balloon you can discover the authentic Tuscany, exceptional hidden and unfamiliar areas, which are in the heart of the beautiful Val d’Orcia. Places where people come to photograph the some of the most famous landscapes in the world, a UNESCO World heritage site.
A short ride from our farm, you can take part in this exciting experience. With the wind to guide your journey, you will fly over breathtaking scenery including the famous lunar landscape of the Val d’Orcia, the characteristic hills of clay gullies found beside country roads and cypress trees of the park, or you can fly over the colorful fields of sunflowers or poppies in the Val di Chiana.
Hot Air Balloon Rides from May to October
Take off begins at dawn during this season because the weather conditions are the best for the pilots to control the direction of the balloon. A hot air balloon ride lasts a little more than an hour, but because of factors like wind direction, determing the landing site is an art and you should allow a good 3-4 hours in total for your hot air balloon ride adventure.
Upon landing you will be greeted by the ground crew, who will have followed your flight path from the ground, together you can toast the journey and share tales of yoru adventure while enjoying a breakfast of local produce.
